Maria opened Platinum Properties in Aug 2013 and oversees every aspect of the business. She has worked her magic within the lettings industry since 1998, undertaking a wealth of professional training and qualifications during that time to progress her impressive career and loves this dynamic industry. Running Platinum encapsulates her previous experience in the IT, marketing, accounting and customer service sectors, all of which ensures she is well versed in delivering high quality results to her clients. Growing up locally, as the daughter of a builder, she has expert knowledge of the area and the processes behind building and hands on experience of the renovation of properties which forms another of her passions.

Jade joined Platinum Properties in February 2018, having grown up in the local area. Jade enjoyed an eight year career with another local independent sales and letting agent, working across both genres, prior to moving to Platinum Properties to further her passion for lettings. Jade’s extensive local knowledge, property understanding, sunny personality and her drive to deliver high quality customer service make her a fantastic addition to the Platinum family where she looks forward to building exceptional relationships with her portfolio of Landlords and Tenants.
Sophie joined Platinum Properties in March 2018, having worked in the industry for another Cambridge based independent agent prior to this, providing her with a strong understanding of lettings. Sophie has moved to Platinum Properties to further her experience with a more hands on position and is looking forward to the challenge, expanding her excellent skills base and developing her client and customer relationships. Having always worked in customer service based roles, Sophie enjoys building strong relationships and always strives to deliver a first class experience for landlords and tenants alike.
Alycia joined Platinum Properties in September 2014 to start her lettings career and has a natural aptitude for the business. She has already completed her NVQ in Business Administration and Agency All Stars training and has just commenced the ARLA Technical Award training to gain her nationally recognised professional qualification. Alycia has lived in the area all of her life giving her excellent local knowledge which she puts to great use in matching tenants and available properties. She is committed to providing the best customer experience for our clients as part of the Platinum team.

Carly joined Platinum Properties in April 2017, bringing with her a wealth of customer service experience gained in many varied industries and various business and administration qualifications. Carly grew up locally, choosing to travel and work abroad initially, but she was drawn back to Ely by her love of the area. Carly’s excellent local knowledge, friendly demeanour and passion for providing the very best customer experience make her an integral part of the Platinum Properties team when it comes to delivering our award winning service. She has also made a niche for herself as the companies queen of all things social media.
Administrator & Social Media Executive
Doogie the cocker-poo joined Platinum Properties toward the end of September 2016. He is owned by Maria’s mother who works in the local area as a mobile hairdresser. This means that Doogie’s days are spent supporting the team at Platinum Properties assisting in the general day to day meeting and greeting of clients and customers and providing a very helpful shredding service for paperwork within the office!
