Full Details

This stunning period cottage, originally built in the 1750`s and more recently sympathetically restored, is located in the heart of the well served village of Sutton and boasts some stunning period details including exposed beams, stripped wooden flooring and brick pavers.

Upon opening the door you can just imagine cosy winter evenings by the log burner with a warming hot chocolate and the Christmas tree in the corner or, within the summer months, throwing open the French doors from the kitchen and the dining space that both open into the lovely courtyard and having friends milling around for a summer barbecue.

The property itself is a true ‘tardis` of a home, the front door opens onto the raised entry way, stepping down you enter the sitting room where the sense of charm and history wash over you as you take in your surroundings with clever little ‘details` included in the renovation. From the sitting room, through the exposed beam wall, you can glimpse the spacious shaker style kitchen with stunning heritage green cupboards, built in oven and hob and spacious storage/boiler cupboard. There is also a w.c. tucked away. On the opposing side of the fireplace boasting log burning stove, is the good sized dining room with a plethora of built in shelving.

The stairs lead to the first floor landing providing access to the spacious master bedroom located in the eaves of the property, a second good sized double bedroom, further large single room and bathroom with stunning heritage bathroom suite to include a beautiful roll top claw footed bath.

The property also has the added benefits of a pretty courtyard garden, gas central heating and double glazing.
